Well, that's tricky. Meg seems to be the "answer" to tion in a way, like "Tion'meg?" "Bac'meg."

But while it seems to stand on its own as way to determine specificity (that thing which fulfills this quality, that specific thing which is this), we also see it acting on its own in stuff like me'vaar ti gar.

Colloquially? I use meg or me' whenever I'm too lazy to say tion, which is often, though it doesn't work for more specific questions, like "Have you eaten today?"

So really, if I think meg will work, I won't use tion unless I think it's needed. personal opinion, tion is too clumsy to say when not needed.

Looking for help. What is the correct way of saying She/he is? Kaysh cuy or Kaysh'cuy?

Kaysh cuy should do it

Seem to recall you really only need cuy if you're using it as an affirmation of her existence - if in context of 'she is pretty' or 'she is brave' you'd say 'Kaysh mesh'la' or 'Kaysh kotep', rather than 'Kaysh cuy (predicate)'

Me'vaar ti gar is what's new with you, though. I do agree with your use in "what you are doing." That works well.

Quick question: So I've noticed, in my research of the alphabet, that there are several (two?) different alphabets. Which one is cannon/are y'all using?

Honestly, that's kinda up in the air. We've spent time trying to make a new one, that isn't so garbage to read and write. I don't think there's a firm consensus.

About time we agreed on at least the alphabet...

Welcome to reality, it often messes with your grand designs

For the record, I like what you did, adoption is the only obstacle

Adoption is very easy, one simple line.
Ni kar’tayli gai sa’ad.

Seriously though, using any form of mando’a, be it said or written just needs an aplication. So far i found one only, since not many mando knowing folks around here. My family curses in mando’a. And since the curses arent as vile as in other languages (stupid, dirty, traitor etc.) i allowed my kid to curse in mando’a, but mando’a only.

Hopefully you can translate this (or can I already find it here somewhere?):

Aliit ori'shya tal'din

What does that mean? I read it on a merch and want to know the meaning before buying it.
Aliit is the tribe, but the rest I don' know
Thanks!

It means "family is more than bloodline" and it's conveniently devoid of any modifications or kludges, it means exactly what it says on the tin.

Hi there again.
I need your thoughts:
I"m gonna get a tattoo in Mando'a on Oct.21.
I choose this (from the dictionary):
cin vhetin bal shereshoy
but in Mandoa letters of course.

I think it matches with my current situation (my husband left me after 20 years and now I try to get used to a new life...) and it means "forget the past, make a new start and enjoy your life".
Ist that right? Or do you have any other suggestion for this?

I'll show the result (after healing) if I learn how to put a picture in here. :D

I think it sounds just fine. In this configuration it sounds like a motto instead of a command, but I think that works rather well for a tattoo. Can't wait to see it!
