Su'cuy vode! :)

I'm Ryi, and I was invited to come on over here from the Mercs Forum by Cuyan! :yay: It looked so interesting and since I really need to learn the grammar of Mando'a so I can speak it better.

So feel free to drop me a line and a shout of "Su'cuy!" I'm not really familiar with any of the grammar rules except for using "e" and "se" for plurals and adding "la" at the end of such words as "Di'kutla" and "Shabla".

Yes...I'm an extreme shiny when it comes to grammar, but I'm surprised at how easy it is to learn so maybe I might just pick the grammar up in a flash, although it might take me a little longer than I really want it to... But that's why I'm here!

So vor'e vode! :D

I'm glad to be here!
:yay:

Oh hai! *AHEM* I mean...Su-cuy!

Welcome to the forums. :)

I must admit, I'm not incredibly well-schooled myself, but juggling a bunch of hobbies makes it difficult to focus incredibly well on anything in specific.

I'm glad Cuyan invited you over. It's great to see another new face around here.

If you need anything, or have any questions, feel free to message me, or post in the designated areas of the forums.

Thank you for joining us!

Su'cuy gar vode an!

I am Fett 1138, leader of the Followers of Mandalore. I was informed by Ijaat, one of my Al'Ori'Ramikade, that you could use some new members to help you get up and running. I will be glad to devote any resources that I can to your cause, including web design and promotion. The Followers of Mandalore and I will be more than happy to help you out in any way, if you need it.

It's good to see the ranks growing. I'm glad the word is being spread.

Regarding the web design angle, we have spent a little time working on a theme for this forum, but real life concerns have kept me from spending a useful amount of time on such activities. Cuyan has plenty of ideas and graphics that he's worked on. We were looking at converting the Lucid Lime theme, among other things. There's a thread here.

Su'cuy! I had been lurking here, but haven't been around for a bit. I also recently joined the Mandalorian Mercs and am planning out my beskar'gam.

Been practicing the language a bit, and I plan to have phrases in the Mando'a script on my armor. Which means some serious study time!

Oya!

Su'cuy, so nice, that Mando'a can be studied by regular people. Actually I visit it often only to translate some words, but I think, that this community must grow, so more people will teach Mando'a. I don't know, with what exactly I can help, except bringing some new SW-fans on this forum. My Mando'a study is very bad now and I still don't know, what "Fierfek" means XD Ret'!

Well hello there. I must share a (not so) secret with you: even though I made the translator and run the forums, my command of Mando'a is abominable. We're all in this together. :)

There are plenty of ways any of us can help. Spreading the word and sharing the Mando'a language and Mandalorian way of life are the core values of the forum, and making and recording commonsense additions to the lexicon are also useful. Just being here and showing support for the community is a big deal, and your presence is appreciated. :D

Su'cuy, ner Mando'vode!

Call me Ken for short, if you will.
Great to see an online community of Mando'ade.
I've been picking up Mando'a for a few months now, and my grammar is a bit shaky.
Also, there's literally no one near me who speaks Mando'a, so I'm looking forward to polishing up my speaking.

K'oyacyi!

Su'cuy vode!

I know my nick looks kind of absurd in the Mandalorian forum, but I had it for so long it would be hard for me to start responding to another name. :*)

I came here to learn as much Mandoa as possible. Though my lack of armor or willingness to wear one means that I am not abiding Resol'nare :( , I want to at least be able to speak the language.

Olarom! I'm glad you found us. So far the members of this forum have assembled a fairly impressive body of work (the bible translation section, among others).

I hope our resources prove useful in your quest to learn more Mando'a. :)

For now, lacking armour myself, I perceive the directive to wear beskar'gam as more of a metaphor for being ready for anything, and constantly learning as much as I can about as many subjects as I can (a kind of mental armour). Though that is not technically a correct interpretation of the Resol'nare, it helps me get by until I can justify the expense and time to prepare a proper set of armour that will do the Mando'ade justice. Mostly, I probably just think that way to make it ok for me to shirk my duties. :P

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay and learn much, and share that knowledge with others. Ret'urcye mhi!
