I'd probably find it easier to use Miit'sad.

I want to suggest 'shaad' for movement/motion.

nushaad'la - motionless
shaadlar - to move

dar'cuy = is gone. right? I was thinking also ven kyrayc

ge'kyrayc seems to fit better (almost dead)

Ge'kyr or ge'kyrayc should both work, yes. Added bonus, they're more comfortable to say.

Vercopa seems more like a "life goal" kind of dream.

Maybe ca'chaab?

Been trying to get the body parts together and realized we had some missing. Especially for the head, shoulder, knees, and toes song :p

Toe: Graan (just created the word from gaan (foot))
Finger: traan (from taan (hand))
Ear: sulur (from susulur (to hear))
Shoulder: rudyc (from irud + tomyc arm and joint)

Song then goes:

Kovid, rudyc, lovik, bal graan; lovik bal graan.
Kovid, rudyc, lovik, bal graan; lovik bal graan.
Sur’haai bal sulur bal uram bal kles.
Kovid, rudyc, lovik bal graan; lovik bal graan.

I still need words for Leg, Ankle, Groin, Breast

Any comments on new words would be great as well as suggestions for the other body parts.

Su'cuy!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have not found a word for 'servant' in Mando'a. Would the word gaan'urcyin be considered possible? It is a compound of the already existing words gaan (foot) and murcyur (kiss). Literally the word would mean "foot-kisser", as servants kiss the feet of the powerful. There is also no word for 'to guide' in Mando'a, but I feel that word might need a new stem-word which I'm not familiar with Mando'a enough to suggest. I want to say the phrase "Mand'alore, guide your servant" as a sort of divine battlecry invoking the aid of past Mandalores.

I am personally not for that solution because of the social implications. A good servant is not somebody who kisses your feet but one who can anticipate your needs and then is able to plan and act accordingly. A good servant keeps your back and head free. (I'd make a waiter-analogy now, but good service is defined so very differently in Germany and the States that it's not worth it. XD )

I'd go for something more like jagaata* (jag+gaa'taylir). Depending on how you say it, the sound makes a nice insult or enderament. O.O

* I know it's derived from 'man', but let me make up some historical background, and I'd say the word evolved in the less civilsed days where taking prisoners was common and female prisoners were used for other things. The word dalgaata might just be the word for whore then.

Yeah that definitely fits the Mando'ade model of lead by example rather than through fear. On another note, for 'to guide' the word could be al'goyir from goyust (road/path) and alor (leader). The noun 'guide' could be simply goy'alor (road leader). It might make sense that the early Mando'ade would have trusted those who knew the paths and could 'guide' them on their way. Thoughts?

Sound good to me. Maybe align the two so that the same part is at the front/back each time?
goy'alorir/goy'alor
al'goyir/al'goy

Though I won't lie and say that the sound of 'al'goy' clearly refers to THIS in my head... XD

I had the idea of ge'alor/g'alor meaning 'almost leader', but that works better for a second in command. Or sarcasm.

You're using the wrong stem for road, though. The root is Yust, like in yustapir and yustarud, goyust just specifies the road has been engineered, rather than a natural path.

Yust'alor sounds okay to me.

Yust'alor definitely sounds good for 'guide', like an official title bestowed upon a navigator. al'yustir or yust'alorir could work as the verb, whichever one sounds more phonetically pleasing.

How about din'ust? From dinu, so we have "give a path" with a couple dropped sounds for ease of pronunciation.

Sounds good to me! din'ust and din'ustir
