On the "funny" number 22

Unread post by ForceJudgement » 16 Jun 2020 14:54

I have this headcanon that the number 22 is considered the funny number in Mando'a.

The letter for "n" in Mandor is very similar to the number "2". Now, over on the Discord server, we've translated LOL to be Nu'shev'la nuhunar, meaning "audible (not silent) laughter". In other words, NN.

If we take NN in Mandor, 22 in Mandor will look very similar.

And that's why 22 can be considered the "funny" number! :D

Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad nuhoy'ur.
