Ran into a random Mando at a taco bell last night. It was pretty awesome!

Yeah, apparently he'll get on the phone with a vod he knows down at their armory and they chat. It weirds out the guys he works with, of course...

I keep hoping I'll run into a Mando IRL but it never happens. Chicago seems to be the last place Mando's would exist.

Don't give up hope, ner vod. If you cannot find a Mando, make a Mando: I've started teaching Mando'a to a couple people at work with whom I am friends. Also, have you tried looking up your 'local' MMCC clan? They may be a good place to meet nearby Mando'ade. I have made contact with another Mando'ad down in Bismarck, which is just the next city down from Minot. Tenacity, ner vod, tenacity.

Remember, there's always the chance to meet us. I've always wanted to see Chi-town, it's where my dad grew up...

I took a look, and there is one very small clan in Illinois, which seems to have only for or five members, all spread out in the far western or southern parts of the state. Guaranteed day trip.

Let me know if you ever come visit. I can show you around downtown a bit and one of the hipsterest neighbourhoods as well.
