Exactly my thoughts. Or as if they are reading it straight off the script.
To me it sounds a lot like when non native speakers of a language try to say something and they can get the point across, but you can also tell that they are still learning.

I think dar'tome would work fine too. Remember, it has an idiomatic meaning as well as a literal one. In the Mandalorian wedding vows Mhi solus dar'tome is translated as 'we are one when apart' going by that I think dar'tome would be acceptable.

I'm not sure about the hypothetical you either. I haven't seen a lot of instances where mando'a uses that kind of construction. It seems to me that context would be the main descriptor, and there wouldn't be much need for a hypothetical you.

I'd like to hear more on this subject, though.

I have a question. You created a word for 'good luck,' which I love the literal translation of. My question is, what is the idiomatic difference between you word and 'k'oya'ci?
