It will be quiet around here without you. Don't stay away for too long!
I hope you don't mind, but I edited your post to make it sticky.

Re: A whole lot of thoughts...
First of all, glad to see you again, Adi’karta , you still alive? :) Glad to see you all as well. I am, indeed, still alive. In my work I proposed the word “ urman ” to be used for “culture”. But taking that ancient mandalorians did have a religion with no less than three gods, I think that same wo...

Each of those look pretty interesting, Vlet. I'll try my hand at practising a few of them and see how they turn out. Thanks for the links.

My account stays persistently online, even if I do not, so I'm always "around" and I usually get notifications on my phone.

Re: Reworked the grammar a little
While reading through your (very thorough and comprehensive) overview of the grammar, I took a few notes: Likes: tion prefixing the specific word being questioned makes a lot of sense officially designating -yc for words ending in vowels and -la for consonants makes more sense than the current wild-...

Wordplay, Euphemisms, Double-Meanings in Mando'a
Tal'jair and I got to talking on IRC and the topic of wordplay came up. We don't have any (or many) words that we openly use as euphemisms (yet). So this is the thread to come up with some! I'm about to go to bed so I don't have anything to contribute yet, but I wanted to put this thread up so y'all...

This sounds like a good idea. There has been light talk about something like this for a while, but we've never gotten very far.

Perfect.
And I swear "tion'jor" did not come up in the dictionary when I searched it before my post.
That said...it's definitely descended from the same stem I picked for my custom construction.

Re: Words i accumulated or invented so far
"Why" could be tion'jorbe (what reason).
"How" would begin with tion and end with whatever word we can find for "method", "way", etc.

Re: Mandalorian Time System
5th hour of the 7th watch seems correct to me. I should whip up a converter or something, because that was an annoying chain of math to do (straightforward, but too many steps) to convert manually. I can't back you or oppose you on the translation -- I'm re-examining the proposed time words, as I'm ...

Re: Mandalorian Writing Systems
About the writing system, I have long lamented its inconvenience as a handwritten system, but done nothing about it. I believe I posted a thread long ago about the MLD pdf, and while the linguist in me thrills at the prospect of a purely phonetic writing system, something about that particular impl...
