Seems like a reasonable scope for a first project, yeah

Re: List of Custom Words
I'm always torn on the subject of measurement systems, kinda like back when we were working out a time system. The urge to disconnect it from any real world measurements to preserve a sense of identity and authenticity is understandable, but man does it make it hard to use it for anything...

Much as I'd like to set myself up as the arbiter of orthography here, I'm definitely not in charge of things

Re: To Know and To Love
guuror [GOO-rohr] like, be fond of (of a person or creature)
I'm not seeing a gurror, vod
Yeah, it's admittedly different in intensity, I suppose, but not in the base emotion being expressed. And let's be honest, in common usage IRL, people use "love" incredibly casually in a lot of contexts

Tempting, might take a look soon
Re: MANDO
Speaking from a purely energy-output standpoint, I don't think any chase they could go on within the same time period (the chase is implied to at least take part all in one part of the day, the lighting doesn't change much) could match the output needed to hurl a person into actual low orbit
Re: MANDO
Frustrating that they won't commit to more Mando'a, yeah. It was fun to watch but I wish they would be a bit more consistent with powers and skills, y'know? One moment the jetpacks run out fo fuel after a few minute's level flight, next they can go SSTO? And the warriors are presented as tough and t...
Re: Off Topic
Yeah, differing dialects make this a fun proposition. Not to mention everyone has a somewhat different vernacular approach since we're really not working from any single literary tradition or anything. It's sometimes fun, sometimes frustrating...

Re: Pointless tidbit in regards to the creation of new Mando’a words or grammatical rules.
These are both good points, and I think that ( to somewhat expand on what you're mentioning here) we also underuse "mangling" words when making new terms. You can find a lot of words that seem to have a clear lineage (like shekemir, ray'ture, and I will always suggest copaani even though it's a stre...

On a practical basis I've used guur with my wife, Kar'tayli does have a bit too much formality for a quick comment imo
